The 49th edition of the VEITHsymposium took place from the 15th to the 19th of November in New York, USA. VEITHsymposium provides vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists and other vascular specialists with a unique and exciting format to learn the most current information about what is new and important in the treatment of vascular diseases.
Our CMO, Dr. Vicenç Riambau, and our CTO, Dr. Noemí Balà, presented the last advances on the first Aortyx device, indicated for AD, AX-GEN01. Specifically, the co-founders presented the last successful preclinical experiments in an AD model. The vascular community reacted very positively to these presentations which generated a nourishing discussion and opened several possibilities to collaborate during the next project phases.
It is always a pleasure to attend the VEITHsymposium and we are looking forward to coming back with more exciting results to share with the vascular surgery community!
