The company has incorporated, a Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Affairs Director, a Quality Affairs Manager, a Regulatory Engineer and an R&D Scientist. These new profiles will be crucial to ensure that Aortyx progresses towards and through the First in Human of its first product, AX-GEN01.
Aortyx is on the hunt for the most rigorous professionals in our industry. The company has incorporated Josefa Güiles as the Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Affairs Director. With more than 20 years’ experience in Quality and Regulatory departments, Josefa will oversee the execution of the Regulatory roadmap and all its derivatives and crucial tasks.
Mauricio Pincilotti has joined Aortyx to ensure that the entire company works under the highest Quality Standards. With more than 15 years’ experience in quality, he will manage the Quality Affairs of the company, starting with the implantation of a Quality Management system according to ISO 13485.
Helena Villanova has joined the venture to be the link between the R&D activities of the Engineering department and the Regulatory department. Her more than 5 years experience in the other Top vascular companies in Catalunya developing vascular and neurovascular devices is key to accomplish Aortyx’ objectives.
Maria Casas has joined the team as a R&D Scientist. At Aortyx, Maria will support the R&D activities of the engineering department. More specifically, she will be in charge of the evolution of the stitches that maintain the patch tied to the deployer.
